About the Inspector
Dudley holds an honors degree in engineering and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, with a career in engineering project delivery spanning over thirty years. He has completed additional training in industrial asbestos management, waste disposal, environmental management, and sustainability.
Dudley has been providing building inspections under the Jim’s brand since 2022, and has earned over 300 five-star reviews on his Google Business Profile — a reflection of the quality, professionalism and care he brings to every inspection.
His engineering career spans chemical processing, power generation, transmission and distribution, industrial buildings, industrial gas processing and distribution, minerals refining, and industrial manufacturing. Across these industries he has held senior roles including maintenance engineer, reliability manager, studies manager, project manager and construction manager for large multinational organizations. He has led large projects and multidisciplinary teams where complex technical problems had to be solved using industry best practices, creative ingenuity and teamwork — always within budget, schedule and quality standards.
That background gives Dudley a strong foundation for interpreting structural integrity, understanding failure modes, and assessing the performance and behavior of building elements and materials. Outside of work, Dudley has been married for 28 years and has three teenage children. He enjoys spending time with his family, walking, restoring his 1969 Triumph Spitfire, and exploring the outdoors and travelling around our beautiful state.
