Passionate about the building industry, I started working in construction in 2002 as an apprentice carpenter in Sydney NSW. I progressed to undertake a Certificate III in carpentry and Certificate IV in building. Throughout this time, my skills and expertise has widened to various tasks in construction to include site supervision, material handling, consultant liaison and WH&S management. During my building career, I took part in property inspections for the Department of Housing NSW which enabled me to enhance my expertise in identifying structural defects and widening my knowledge in codes and standards.
In 2010, I established my own residential construction company where I have contracted a wide range of renovations, additions, new homes such as duplexes, townhouses and luxury homes around Sydney. Through my tenure I thrived to ensure strong communication, reliability and transparency in delivering quality homes which allowed me to maintain high standards or professionalism and customer satisfaction.
Given my career aspirations and goals, I have decided to join the team at Jim’s Building Inspections to seize the opportunity to utilise my knowledge, skills and expertise in the field in a professional capacity with a well-known trading name.
A quick snapshot about myself, I am a hands on person that likes to involve in many sports such as Rugby League, fishing, boating and a range of outdoor activities.
