About the Inspector
Kamal is a Chartered Structural Engineer (Engineers Australia), a registered Professional Structural Engineer in NSW Fair Trading and the Victorian Building Authority, and a licensed Building Practitioner in NSW. Based in Sydney, he has 18+ years of experience across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, including high-rises and stadiums.
Starting his career in 2004, Kamal quickly advanced, earning builder and structural design licenses by 2008. Since then, he’s led complex projects, working closely with architects, builders, and engineers to ensure structural integrity, compliance, and client satisfaction. His expertise spans detailed designs, documentation, site supervision, and technical coordination.
Now a proud Franchisee of Jim’s Building Inspections, Kamal brings his structural engineering and construction experience into the inspections field. He delivers thorough, professional reports to help clients make informed decisions, safeguard investments, and avoid costly issues.
Outside work, Kamal enjoys family time, travel, and bushwalking – activities that reflect his love for balance, nature and thoughtful observation.
