Andrew Stretton – Charlemont Building Consultant
Andrew Stretton is the Jim’s Building Consultant for Charlemont, bringing around 25 years of hands-on experience in the building and construction industry.
With a strong background knowledge in bricklaying, concreting and residential construction, Andrew has developed a wealth of practical knowledge during his life and a genuine understanding of clients requirements.
Andrew began his career at just 16, when he was offered a bricklaying apprenticeship. From there, he expanded his skills into the concreting industry before joining a local construction company, where he worked on a variety of residential and commercial projects throughout Geelong and Melbourne. After gaining valuable experience across the industry, Andrew took the next step and operated his own business for 15 years.
Today, Andrew brings that wealth of real-world experience and customer service into building inspection.
His transition into the industry has allowed him to build on his existing skills while embracing a new challenge and a passion for helping people make informed decisions about their largest asset.
Andrew understands the importance of attention to detail and clear communication, and takes pride in bringing a practical, down-to-earth approach to his role as a building consultant.
Andrew has been married for over 30 years with three children, local geelong boy and loves to travel and explore when possible and is a Cats supporter.
