My name is Jason Vuyst born 4/10/1985. I began in the Construction Industry at age 17. By 2006 I had completed my apprentiship in certificate 3 in general construction.

From there I went on to work as a Carpenter around Melbourne in the domestic sector for volume builders, private companies and high end architecturally designed luxury homes.

In 2011 I moved to Karratha W/A to pursue the mining boom working on several mine sites as a maintenance Carpenter and around the town doing general Carpentry and Maintenance.

From there moved to Darwin in 2015 to pursue further mining opportunities where I worked as a Trade Assistant for a Mechanical fitter amongst other roles on the Inpex Gas Plant where I gained extensive knowledge on large construction methods and execution.

From here I would return to Victoria to continue to work again as a carpenter in 2019 for different builders until I decided to start my own carpentry business doing maintenance and small renovation works from 2020 till present.

My extensive knowledge of 20 years in the building and construction industry has been invaluable to my life currently. My outlook is to potentially enroll for the certificate 4 and building diploma to become a registered builder if my circumstances require it. I will continue to grow with more training and opportunities including the purchase of this franchise.

In my spare time I’m usually spending it playing with my two young kids and when I can, going to gym or going out for dinner with mates and family.
