About the Inspector
Laura is deeply committed to the built environment, boasting a rich background spanning government and private sectors. With a focus on building regulations, certification, and education, she brings specialized expertise as a NSW Registered Building Surveyor, Registered Swimming Pool Inspector and Building Regulations Consultant. Recognized for her proficiency and expertise in swimming pool compliance, Laura has provided expert advise to the NSW Ombudsmen and the Coroners Court in addition to NSW Police. She has also crafted and presented swimming pool compliance training resources and webinars for esteemed organizations like AAC (Association of Accredited Certifiers), UTS (University of Technology Sydney), EDAP (Environmental Development and Allied Professionals), EHA (Environmental Health Australia), and numerous local councils across Sydney.
In her spare time, Laura enjoys fishing and can also be found performing in and around Sydney as a professional guitarist in her spare time.
