Despite having a very busy schedule, he flexibly arranged and urgently fitted my inspection into the same day, which I genuinely appreciated during a stressful property sale situation. Thorough inspection that saved me from a costly mistake I engaged George Mikhail from Jim’s Building Inspections Liverpool for a pre-purchase building and pest inspection on a 1990s brick home in Ruse NSW. From the very first contact George was professional, responsive, and easy to deal with — he coordinated access directly with the real estate agent which made the whole process seamless. George’s qualifications speak for themselves — Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Structural Engineering Advanced Diploma — and his report reflected that expertise. He identified structural termite damage in the roof void, subfloor wood rot in load-bearing timbers, exposed electrical wiring, safety hazards with the fireplace, and multiple conditions conducive to termite activity. His report was detailed, well-structured, and backed up with clear photos. Most importantly — George called me immediately after the inspection to walk me through his findings verbally before the written report arrived. That phone call was invaluable and showed he genuinely cared about making sure I understood the risks before making a $1,000,000+ decision. His inspection fee potentially saved me from $50,000–$100,000+ in hidden repair costs on a property sold As Is. That is the best return on investment I have ever seen. If you are buying a property in the Campbelltown or Southwest Sydney area — do not skip the building inspection and do not use anyone other than George. Absolutely outstanding service.
